Biosafety Cabinets — Class II Microbiological Safety Cabinets

ADS Laminaire designs and manufactures Class II biosafety cabinets (Type A2) for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, hospital and research laboratories across the United States and Canada. Every microbiological safety cabinet delivers triple protection — operator, product and environment — through HEPA-filtered unidirectional airflow, in full compliance with NSF 49 and NF EN 12469.

As a manufacturer since 1968, we build each cabinet in-house, from the HEPA filtration system to the 316L stainless steel worktop, and we handle on-site installation and IQ/OQ/PQ qualification. Whether you handle BSL-1, BSL-2 or BSL-3 agents, cytotoxic drugs or sterile compounding, we offer a biosafety cabinet adapted to your application and your space.

Our Range

Standards & Certifications

NSF/ANSI 49 is the North American reference standard for Class II biosafety cabinets, covering design, construction and performance. NF EN 12469 is the European equivalent. ADS Laminaire biosafety cabinets are engineered to meet both, which means they are suitable for US laboratories while meeting international expectations.

All cabinets use HEPA H14 filtration (≥99.995% efficiency at MPPS) and can be supplied with documented IQ/OQ/PQ qualification for regulated environments.

Applications & Industries

Our biosafety cabinets are used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology research, hospital pharmacies and compounding, clinical and microbiology laboratories, and cell culture facilities. For cytotoxic or hazardous drug compounding, see our CYTO-PURE cabinet designed with USP 800 requirements in mind.
