ADS Laminaire manufactures horizontal and vertical laminar flow hoods — also called clean benches or laminar airflow workstations — providing an ISO Class 5 sterile working environment. HEPA-filtered unidirectional airflow protects your product and process from airborne particulate and microbial contamination.

Our range covers compact benchtop units to large multi-operator stations, with 110V/60Hz electrical configuration for US laboratories. Each hood is built to order and can be qualified on site (IQ/OQ/PQ).

Standards & Certifications

Laminar flow hoods provide an ISO Class 5 environment as defined by ISO 14644-1. Unlike a biosafety cabinet, a laminar flow hood protects the product but not the operator — it should not be used for hazardous or infectious materials. For operator protection, see our biosafety cabinets.

All units use HEPA H14 filtration and can be supplied with airflow velocity verification and particle count documentation.

Applications & Industries

Laminar flow hoods are used for non-hazardous sterile work: media preparation, sterile assembly, electronics and optics, plant tissue culture, sterile compounding of non-hazardous preparations, and quality control. Horizontal flow suits product protection; vertical flow suits processes requiring downward airflow.
